I have always been drawn to how skin actually works. I spent my PhD years looking closely at how ingredients reach the skin and what makes a product genuinely effective. Dr Sonal Chavda-Sitaram, MRPharmS, is a pharmaceutical consultant with a deep interest in comprehensive skin science. She holds a Masters in Pharmacy from King's College London and a PhD in topical and transdermal delivery from UCL, and has spent more than fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Director and Senior Commercial Director. She continues to consult for large pharmaceutical companies.

Skin is metabolically active tissue, perfused by its own blood supply, in constant exchange with the immune system, the gut microbiome and the endocrine system. Yes. All three serums have been dermatologically tested and are confirmed suitable for sensitive skin. Each serum was assessed in a separate 96-hour human patch test under dermatological control, in thirty volunteers with sensitive skin per serum, ninety in total. None of the three produced an irritation reaction at any assessment point across the full four days.
Our consumer trials bear that out in daily use. Over twelve weeks, 93% of Clarify participants, 84% of Protect participants and 84% of Radiance participants reported no irritation. If your skin is reactive, patch test on the inner forearm for twenty-four hours before first use.
