Payment methods, security, and how charges work.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All payments are taken in pounds sterling.
Yes. Our checkout is encrypted and PCI DSS compliant, and payments are handled by our payment provider rather than by us. We never see or store your full card number.
For one-off orders, payment is taken at the moment you place the order. For subscriptions, your first payment is taken at checkout and each renewal is charged on the same date in your chosen cycle. We email you before every renewal so nothing arrives unannounced.
Some banks place a temporary authorisation hold when an order is placed. If a payment fails or an order is cancelled, that hold usually clears within 3 to 5 working days depending on your bank. You will only ever be charged once per order.
Declines are almost always down to the card issuer rather than our checkout. Check that your billing address matches the one your bank holds, that your card has not expired, and that any verification prompt from your bank has been completed. If it declines again, try another payment method or email us and we will help.
No. Card details are held securely by our payment provider, not by us. If you save a card for faster checkout or for a subscription, it is stored with them in encrypted form and you can remove it at any time from your account.
Enter your code in the discount box at checkout and the saving applies before payment. One code per order. Codes cannot be applied retrospectively, so if you have missed one, email us before your order is dispatched.
Not at present. Each order is paid with a single payment method. If you would like to split an order, place it as two separate orders. Delivery is free on both.
All prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling. If you are paying with a non-UK card, your bank may apply its own conversion rate or foreign transaction fee, which is outside our control.
